John Baumgarten has enjoyed over 30 years of successful experience in the Information Technology space with over 12 years holding Sales and Senior Sales Management roles in the Telecommunications industry at ICG Communications and Level (3) Communications/CenturyLink/Lumen. John has led multiple award winning sales teams in exceeding sales and revenue targets. John was also responsible for successfully developing numerous medical, chief research and higher education accounts including Colorado Hospital Association, CH2M Hill (Jacobs Engineering Group), UCAR/NCAR, University of Colorado, NREL, Colorado State University, University of Utah, and The University of Oregon.
Mr. Baumgarten currently serves as a Senior Partner and Executive Team Member at OTG Consulting and joined OTG in July of 2020. John’s focus at OTG Consulting is providing value by helping clients solve complex IT needs through next-generation technology solutions such as Cloud, UCaaS, SD-Wan, Video Conferencing, Voice Solutions, Security, Disaster Recovery, Contact Center Solutions, AI, IoT and many other technologies.
John is also currently CEO at Corbyn Group Consulting LLC. Corbyn Group provides business consulting and technical expertise to healthcare corporations, global hedge funds, private equity firms, institutional investors, asset managers and venture capital groups.
Prior to joining OTG Consulting John served for close to three years as Vice President for Strategic Alliances and Market Development with Air Methods Corporation. Working directly with Air Methods President/COO John was responsible for developing growth strategies focused on driving expansion of new and existing air medical transportation base business.
During his tenure at Air Methods John Launched three medical transportation air bases in less than 2 years, significantly increasing EBITDA achievement across greenfield placements and M&A activity.
John also spent time in the Colorado start-up community focused on creating a digital medical tech startup connecting patients and physicians via telehealth. This enabled primary and specialty care anywhere through a virtual clinic platform with digital patient data within a web browser.

- Board Member of Colorado Healthcare Strategy & Management (CHSM) a Colorado based not-for-profit organization serving the needs of the local healthcare community
- Past President of the ThunderRidge High School Grizzly Bear Backer Club a Colorado 501 (3) C Fundraising Organization having raised over $500,000 to support educational/sports activities and fund College Scholarships
